VAN OF THE YEAR 2004 voted by N.S.V.A.

Well this was the van when I first set eyes on it

after some thought we decided to remove the windows and make it a panel van

also de trimmed the outside and painted in carmillian red paint to match the mega manta

also a new set of wheels were added along with bmw M3 mirrors with indicator, rear clear lights, front clear indicators

a Chevy front grill and astra gte bonnet vents

thanks to Dragon art for there excellent work on the van.

I still have a long way to go to get the van how I want it with a big ice install, bullet front grill and full body kit

for a start, also a totally new full interior

This is what I am aiming to get the van to look like.

The stereo install is coming on now with the major frame and boxes finished

Just fitting the xenon body kit. Due to me having a tow hitch there were a few mods having to be made to fit the rear bumper.

Ok the kit is now on and started on the centre consol

Project van update

Well 2004 went well picking up 2 trophies with the van.

over the winter xmas 2004/2005 we attacked the paint work with a new look and here is the out come. 

just lacquer left to do from these pics. I also removed the rear number plate and smoothed the rear door.

as in the pic below.  The van now has both my other project cars megamanta and manta ragit patrol car on it

and the van is now called Hot Pursuit.

Picked up top 25 trophy with the safari in Belgium which then followed by another at the N.S.V.A. 30TH show
